Mark Nolan brings to the Eidos Institute Ltd Board expertise in corporate governance, private and public sector investment, risk management and commercial business experience, such as legal, accounting, finance and economics.
Mark Nolan is a Barrister at the private bar in Brisbane. He has rooms in Roma Mitchell Chambers. His areas of practice include crime, employment, human rights, succession and administrative law.
Mark is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and he holds a number of private company directorships including the Campaigns and Communications Group as well as being the Chairman of the EIDOS Institute Limited.
As a former Director with one of Australia’s leading public affairs companies, Mark has a broad range of experience in advising major national and international corporations on their dealings with government and in particular, their interaction with policy decision-makers at the highest levels.
Having travelled extensively across North America as a delegate on numerous State trade missions, together with regular business trips to mainland China and India, Mark has developed and maintained links with business and government officials in each of these countries.
Throughout his career, Mark has developed a specialist skill-set in crisis management and has advised some of the nation’s leading public and private organisations in respect to their interaction with the media in times of significant crisis.
Mark holds degrees from the University of Western Australia in Politics, Industrial Relations and Law.
