The Eidos Research Review |

The Eidos Institute’s work is concentrated on enhancing the impact of academic research when connecting with the formulation of government policy. Increasingly, the method of the Eidos Institute is characterised by the creation of links through which we can move ideas and people with the aim of establishing a national narrative around targeted policy areas that understands the politics and focuses on the issues.
Through shifting political contexts and national priorities, the work of the Eidos Institute has been focused on the following five program areas:
- LIFE: What is the future of learning? How should people and animals relate to each other? What unique challenges are faced by different communities, and how can they be addressed in order to produce society wide equity? How will new methods of urban planning and design influence our global cities?

- SUSTAINABLE: What national and international challenges does climate change create? How can we construct sustainable economies, communities, and environments? What is the impact of the mining boom on regional communities?
